Windows 7 spends more battery than XP

Different studies claim that the next version of Microsoft’s operating system reduces the battery time of netbooks almost a third.
The publication Laptop Magazine says on his blog that during tests it was found that tested netbooks, lost more than two hours of battery life, or about 30%, running Windows 7 instead of Windows XP. This would be enough to begin to tarnish the image of Windows 7, especially in regard to the Netbook market, where the battery time is a major user demands. Moreover, we must not forget that one of Microsoft’s promises was that Windows 7 would improve battery life of about 11% on Windows Vista.
